We are to proud to announce the opening of an additional six rooms in our Hazel Unit. We have re-designed this area specifically for residents with dementia. At Ashridge Court, we already provide excellent care for those living with dementia. Every resident in Hazel Unit receives a safe environment with tailored support and care. Great care is taken to get to know each of our residents – their likes, dislikes, memories or passions. We also work closely with families to provide the best possible care for each resident. Our specialist staff training and continued development ensures that the appropriate level of care is always given.

Mayor for Bexhill, Kathy Harmer, cut the ribbon to officially open the rooms, and took a tour of the new facilities.

Caroline Braime, the Home Manager at Ashridge Court, says, “We recognise the need to provide excellent care for individuals living with dementia. At Ashridge Court we support both residents’ health and wellbeing to enable them to live a fulfilling life. We also support their families to adjust with the change that is happening to their loved one. I am proud of the home and our staff for their dedication and commitment that they provide to our residents and their families”.
