Born and raised in London, Jo moved out to the coast at 14 where she attended collage to study I.T Studies. This was a good programme for Jo as she could easily transfer to many different areas of work. Jo achieved 6 diplomas in IT, and, after working in computer-based job roles for a while, she left to become a sandwich artist for 10 years while her son was going through school. In September 2021 Jo also completed her NVQ in health and social care alongside passing her moving and handling to enable her to train and assess residents. Jo chose to do care work as she feels suited to caring for people who need it most.
In October, Jo will have been with us at Ashridge for four years and has managed to climb the ladder to becoming a senior. Her future goals involve working where she feels she can help others in the community as well as in house.
In her spare time, Jo spends time with her son, Josh, and her little dog, Millie! She enjoys walking Millie, reading, gardening, tattooing, and tarot card reading. She does not enjoy being messy, and she prefers to have a plan laid out before diving into something!
