Caroline Braime joined the Ashridge Court team as the Registered Manager in October 2016, and her experience and dedication in the care sector are evident when you become part of the Ashridge family.

Caroline trained as a Registered general nurse in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in 1996, and has gained experience across multiple clinical areas. These include acute clinical and surgical environments, community nursing, hospice care and the private sector, and achieved the Registered manager’s award and has a teaching award at degree level.

Prior to joining Ashridge Court Care Centre, Caroline worked as a Clinical facilitator and Regional Support Manager, working across the South East of England. In this role she achieved CQC compliance in homes where they had experienced non-compliance and supported a total of eight homes. She participated in policy writing, managing complex safeguardings, revailidation and root cause analysis, and provided education and support across many clinical areas.

Caroline has a particular interest in palliative care and has spent many years as a volunteer supporting a children’s bereavement charity. She is also a member of the review panel for the Multiple Sclerosis Society where she contributes to national publications and the updating of current literature. She has previously led the Gold Standards Framework which demonstrates excellence in end of life care.

Ashridge Court participates in the advance care planning group for Hastings and Rother working towards better outcomes for the residents we care for.
