Person-centred care is core to life at Ashridge Court, and we take great care to get to know your needs so that we can develop and maintain detailed care plans for you.
Getting to know you before you move in is an important part of my role as home manager, so I aim to do every pre-assessment interview myself. Each resident, along with their family, is also encouraged to develop their own history book, which helps us to get to know you, your life and the things that are important to you.
Our staff are proud of the home we have created, often spending time decorating the corridors and communal areas, and we display an ever-changing display of art by local art groups in our corridors, to ring the changes and make it feel even more bright and homely.
We have seen many of our residents transformed by coming to live here. In our Hazel Wing, we have been able to use our expertise to minimise the use of medication in managing the symptoms of residents with dementia.
What is most important is that you feel at home, and enjoy your freedom to live life as you choose, supported by a committed and professional staff team.
