Ashridge Court Care Centre is a bright, spacious and modern care home with magnificent sea views in the beautiful East Sussex countryside, just outside Bexhill-on-Sea.
Ashridge has 69 generously sized bedrooms with ensuite or wet room facilities over three floors. Each is equipped with an adjustable automatic bed with a handset control for your comfort, a wardrobe, lockable bedside cabinet, chest of drawers/dressing table, cosy armchair, a nurse-call system, TV and free Wi-Fi. To help you feel at home from day one, we encourage you and your family to personalise your room with photos as well as favourite ornaments and small items of furniture.
All our bright, comfortable rooms have large windows and many have attractive views of our extensive gardens and the sea. Some ground floor rooms also have doors that open out onto their own patio, allowing direct access from your room to the lovely garden. If you have green fingers you can create your own potted garden or hang baskets filled with favourite flowers.
Our nursing care residents live on the ground or lower ground floors while Hazel Wing, our 16-bed specialist dementia facility on the first floor, cares for residents who find day-to-day life particularly challenging. We encourage the families of residents who are living with dementia to decorate the front doors to their loved one’s room with photos, pictures or other favourite items as this helps them to recognise their new home. Many also find the views overlooking the sea healing and calming.
Our staff are highly trained and experienced, and our genuine passion for caring for people is very much appreciated by our residents and their relatives.
